Using Picture in Picture Manually

To close the Picture in Picture window, hover over it and click the “x” button when it appears in the upper right corner.

Note: The Picture in Picture button will not appear if you are playing the video in full screen mode. You will need to exit full screen mode first before you can access the Picture in Picture button.

If you don’t want the video to automatically start playing in PiP mode every time, you can turn this feature on and off manually in several ways.

Using the video switcher on your screen

Open a video on any website in Firefox and hover over it. You will see a Picture-in-Picture button appear above the video. Click on the Show this video button.

 

Your video will start playing in Picture in investor database Picture mode in the bottom right corner of the screen with the same controls as above.

Method 2: Using the context menu

Right-click on the video playing in your Firefox browser and then select the option “Watch in Picture-in-Picture Mode”. You can also play, pause, mute, change video speed, loop video, and go full screen using this menu.

 

Note: On some websites, you may have difficulty accessing Firefox’s right-click context menu. Some websites, such as YouTube, display their results of the year in targeted advertising own context menu when you right-click on a video. In these situations, double-clicking the right mouse button or holding down the Shift key while right-clicking will help you access Firefox’s context menu instead of the website’s custom menu.

Method 3: Using Keyboard Shortcuts

You can also use various keyboard shortcuts to view video in picture-in-picture mode in Firefox. Use Ctrl+Shift+]to start a video in picture-in-picture mode or close it if it is already running in picture-in-picture mode. Once in picture-in-picture mode, you can use several other keyboard shortcuts to control video playback.

What you need to know Using Picture in
To use the new automatic Picture-in-Picture mode, you must be running Firefox version 130 or later. In older versions, you only have taiwan lead manual control.
If you don’t see PIP video controls in the floating video player after enabling automatic picture-in-picture in Firefox, go to the General section of Firefox’s preferences and click “Enable in-picture video controls” there.
